Women’s Soaring Pilots Association

Promoting all aspects of soaring for women glider pilots.

The Women’s Soaring Pilots Association is a supportive, worldwide network of soaring pilots and enthusiasts dedicated to the advancement of women of all ages and skill levels in the sport of soaring. Our mission is to unite women all over the world fostering international camaraderie, education and understanding through the present and future challenges of soaring flight.

How we do this:
WSPA is a non-profit division of the Soaring Society of America offering:
1. Soaring related scholarships, mentoring, and sponsorship.
2. Training seminars for education and cross-country flying experience.
3. Quarterly Newsletters for networking.
4. Recognition for soaring achievements and service contributions.
5. Support for participation in all levels of soaring competition from local to international gliding contests.

This WSPA Chat will cover information about our 2026 Seminar’s host, the Soaring Club of Houston (SCoH), along with what participants can expect during the seminar and how to use the SSA’s website to register for the seminar. This webinaire is meant to be an interactive chat where attendee participation is encouraged. All those curious about the seminar are welcome to attend. WSPA 2025 Seminar, Finger Lakes, New York, August 3-8, was a great success!
